The Cisco 1400 series routers are a family of ATM-25 and ADSL routers that connect small businesses and remote branch offices to the Internet or to larger, corporate networks. The 1401 has one 10BaseT interface, one ATM-25 interface for connection to an external, ATM 25-to-DSL modem, providing an ADSL connection of up to 8 Mbps to the Internet or to corporate networks.
